StivaSoft’s New Product Generation v4

We at StivaSoft are tremendously excited as we prepare for the launch of our Generation 4 products. It’s hard to believe that it all started in 2006 when we launched our initial website, PHPjabbers.com. From these humble beginnings, we started a campaign to continuously create new, improved products that really add value. The past seven years have flown by in a flash. During this time, we have built over 40 software products, each one a leader in its own product niche. Furthermore, we have worked on literally thousands of custom projects based on our suite of products.

Let’s take a short walk down Memory Lane and recall how our company has grown into a world leader in software and applications:

Generation 1

Our products featured a simple “Green Layout” format on all of our administration panels. We used Flash technology for most of our products. 

We saw immediately that we needed to fill in important gaps. For instance, we had yet to develop auto-installation scripts for MySQL database tables. We needed to add the features customers demanded most: search facilities, import/export and confirmation. 

Obviously, we used PHP for all our products – Version 3 back then. We accomplished our product integration goals using JavaScript technology.

We were off to a promising start, but had so much still to do!

Generation 2

We upgraded our administrative panels to the “Blue/White Layout”. We also filled the gap regarding the auto-installation of MySQL database tables by creating our Installation Wizard. 

To add convenience, we created our auto-update feature to detect  new product versions. We also began support for multiple front end layouts.

Our customers needed a better way to manage multiple products, so we created our “One Admin” feature that gives access to our product suite through a single login.

We greatly expanded our product roster that used our Booking-Engine Kernel. We even lowered prices on all products, thanks to the user licenses which were Zend Optimizer 2.6 encoded. We also added PHP integration procedures to selected products.

Generation 3

We created a new sophisticated PHP framework using the Model-View-Controller pattern for all of our products. We reorganized our file structures by separating the CSS, JS, PHP code and data files.

We added new products and new features:

• Export in CSV/ICAL/XML formats


• Payment modules added with auto payment confirmation


• SMS/email notification


• Multi user support


• jQuery technology for sparkling user interfaces


• Support for foreign languages through external files


• New directory listings and classified ads scripts were added

We upgraded to PHP 4.1/MySQL 4.1 at this time. Instead of using Zend Optimizer, user-licensed product security was tightened through our PHP Code Obfuscator. Many of our products benefited from PHP and JavaScript integration methods.

And Now the Big News – Introducing Generation 4!

We are delighted to be rolling out our latest and best generation of improvements to welcome in 2013 with a bang!

First, we are now upgraded to PHP 5, which contains important new capabilities and features.

We pushed PHP to the limit by creating our new plugin-ready framework. This adds a whole new dimension of flexibility and growth to applications.

We dropped the Zend Optimizer for our user licenses in favor of our own PHP Code Obfuscator.

Users will love our new user interface that features a raft of jQuery and CSS improvements that enhance the look and feel of our products as well as adding important new functionality. Check out the following:

• The main dashboard


• Textboxes with icons


• Auto-search drop downs


• Advanced grids with configurable rows per view, ordering and sorting

Our language support now allows our applications to be Multi-Language Enabled. You can add as many different languages as you require and translate all front- and back-end text via the Admin Page.

We’ve created an advanced Installation Wizard with licensing key technology.
