Over the years we've created more than 40 different products. At the beginning it all started with PHPjabbers.com. Then we decided to create different website for each product that we make - own domain name, unique website design and features. For the last few weeks we've been thinking on how difficult it is for our clients to get familiar with all our products. We believe that having so many different websites confuses most of the people. So what we decided is to move most of the scripts on phpjabbers.com domain. So here it is what we did and what is next to be done

knowledgebasebuilder.com is now at http://www.phpjabbers.com/knowledge-base-builder/
phpinvoicemanager.com is now at http://www.phpjabbers.com/invoice-manager/
stivagallery.com is now at http://www.phpjabbers.com/stiva-gallery/
phpcalendarscripts.com is now at http://www.phpjabbers.com/php-event-calendar/

Property Listing and Job listing scripts have also been moved. In next couple of days we plan to do this for most of the other scripts too. We will keep stivablog.com domain for now.

ClassifiedsGeek.com will be our second large website offering different listing scripts. We will soon start adding new scripts there.

We really hope that doing this it will be easier for you, our clients, to find your way through our large script collection. It keeps getting bigger !

Hopefully using the SEO techniques that we are familiar with Google and other search engines will help us keep our current websites rankings.

how did you do the redirects? How will search engines know what you did?

we used htaccess 301 redirect which according to many experts and even based on Google guides should keep our rankings. We've put such redirects for every page separately on the old domain and not just a single redirect for all requests.
